Bordered by the Santa Susana Mountains, Chatsworth is a beautiful suburb in the northwestern San Fernando Valley. Chatsworth contains many parks, such as Chatsworth Park North/South, which include many public outdoor recreation facilities, Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park, Chatsworth Oaks Park, Stoney Point Park, Chatsworth Trails Park, Sage Ranch Park, and Mason Park. Chatsworth is diverse, with many industrial areas, equestrian facilities, restaurants, a train station, and homes, making it a common filming location. The area has multiple public schools through LAUSD, and several private schools. Chatsworth is connected to the rest of Los Angeles through the Ronald Reagan freeway (State Route 118). There are great neighborhoods, some homes are zoned for horses, there are estate communities, and gorgeous traditional homes.
